Flexibility: an impromptu teacher. And smartphones getting smart.

Let me state that technology is not always your friend and your smartphone is sometimes too smart and emotional for its own good. *has flashback to Disney’s Smart House* Suffice it to say that I typed this post last night and sent it to publish from 9:27 pm and then (likely due to the way I spoke about it in the post and also because 4G ate the battery life like the Cookie Monster devours cookies), my phone spazzed out and would not publish, and I didn’t realize until I got home and it was way past midnight at this point. Anyway, I will now hit publish and you folks can tell me if you feel my phone was being too sensitive by not actually publishing. 🙂

AND NOW BEGINS THE POST

I type this as I stand on a sidewalk waiting for a friend to come meet me who should have been here more than 30 minutes ago.

I am typing this from my smartphone. My phone has always been capable of doing this but I have always had a problem with the idea or inconvenience of posting from my phone. Alas, I now have to do this given that I will not be home in time to post before midnight from le laptop or le tablet.

Suffice it to say, I didn’t wake up his morning thinking that this was how the day was going to go. The two main events I wanted to go will not see my face and I am uber bummed and I thought it would be worth it to spend time with my friends but now…as I wait and wait and wait….

It hits me.

In order to salvage my night, I need to improve my attitude right quick and roll with the punches.

So that’s the plan from here on out. Plans change all the time and we just can’t let that get the best of us or we’ll end up looking back at a life lived miserably.

Until next post!

END OF LAST NIGHT’S POST

Seriously, le phone was being sensitive, no? Geez!
